The terms that govern your use of the SteadWell website and your purchases from us.
Who we are
SteadWell is an Australian online retailer of mobility and daily living aids, operated by Bianca Willshire (ABN 33 809 171 360). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Products and pricing
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you complete checkout.
Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith. Minor variations between product images and the physical item may occur. If a product is materially different from its description, our returns policy applies.
Orders and payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — for example, if a product becomes unavailable, a pricing error occurs, or we are unable to verify payment. You will be notified and refunded promptly if this happens.
Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. We do not store your card details. For NDIS plan-managed orders, payment is invoiced directly to your plan manager at the email address you provide at checkout.
Shipping and delivery
We ship Australia-wide from Australian warehouses. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, particularly in regional areas. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers once an order has been dispatched.

Returns and refunds

NDIS orders
SteadWell provides NDIS-compliant invoicing for plan-managed and self-managed participants. It is your responsibility to ensure the products you order are eligible under your NDIS plan. We cannot provide funding advice. If you are unsure, speak to your plan manager or support coordinator before ordering.
NDIS orders are always charged at list price. Discounting NDIS invoices is not permitted under NDIS rules and we do not do it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, SteadWell's liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the price paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to SteadWell. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
Website use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the operation of the site, access systems or data without authorisation, or use automated tools to scrape content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
