NDIS Essentials
If you have NDIS funding and want a walker, a shower chair or an aid for daily living, this page is for you or the person you support. Every product here is eligible under NDIS Consumables, Support Category 03, as low cost assistive technology. Items under $1,500 have no quote to chase.
Pay directly and claim back through the myplace portal using the line item code on your invoice.
Add your plan manager's email at checkout. We send them a compliant invoice directly. You don't need to do anything else.

How to choose
If you are self-managed, order and pay as normal and you will get an NDIS-compliant invoice to claim. If you are plan-managed, choose NDIS Plan Managed at checkout and add your plan manager's email in the order notes. We send the invoice to them directly.
The range runs from walking frames, rollators and walking sticks to shower chairs, toilet aids, bed rails, wheelchairs and dressing aids, grouped by where you will use them. We are not yet set up for agency-managed orders.

Questions people ask
Can I buy a shower chair with NDIS funding?
Yes. A shower chair is low cost assistive technology under NDIS Consumables, Support Category 03. If you are self-managed, pay as normal and claim with the invoice we send you. If you are plan-managed, choose NDIS Plan Managed at checkout and we send the invoice to your plan manager.
Do I need a quote for an NDIS walker?
No. Walkers, rollators and walking frames under $1,500 are low cost assistive technology, so there is no quote to chase. Your plan needs Consumables funding, Support Category 03. If you are unsure whether your plan has it, your plan manager or support coordinator can check for you.
Is a rollator covered by NDIS?
A rollator can be funded under NDIS Consumables as low cost assistive technology when it relates to your support needs and your plan includes Consumables funding. Every rollator we sell is under $1,500, so no quote is needed. Choose the model by handle height, seat height and weight limit.
How does NDIS plan-managed ordering work?
Choose NDIS Plan Managed as your payment method at checkout and put your plan manager's email address in the order notes. We send them an NDIS-compliant invoice and they pay it from your plan. If anything about the order is unclear, we follow up with you personally by email.
Can agency-managed NDIS participants order?
Not yet. Agency-managed plans can only pay providers set up to claim directly from the NDIA, and we are not set up for that yet. If you are self-managed or plan-managed, you can order the usual way. If your plan is agency-managed, your support coordinator can talk to you about moving to plan management when your plan is next updated.
