Choosing the Right Product

Start with our guided quiz — three questions about your goal, who it’s for, and mobility level. It takes two minutes and gives you three specific recommendations. If you’d rather talk it through first, send us a message and a real person will help.

For most products — no. Walkers, rollators, shower chairs, toilet frames, grab rails, and daily living aids can all be ordered directly without a referral.

An OT assessment is worth getting first if your situation is complex, has changed quickly, or you’re accessing NDIS or Home Care Package funding for the first time. Not sure? Ask us and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Ordering

Browse the shop, add what you need to your cart, and check out online. If you’re using NDIS plan-managed funding, select “NDIS Plan Managed — Invoice” at checkout and enter your plan manager’s email in the order notes field.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. NDIS plan-managed orders are invoiced directly to your plan manager — no payment is required from you at checkout.

Contact us as quickly as possible at hello@livesteadwell.com.au. If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we’ll do our best to make changes. Once it’s shipped, we can help you with a return once it arrives.

Not at the moment — orders are placed online. If you’re not comfortable ordering online or need help through the process, email us and we’ll walk you through it.

Delivery

Most orders dispatch within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days for metro areas, and 5–7 business days for regional areas. We’ll send your tracking details as soon as your order ships.

Yes — we ship to all states and territories. All products ship from Australian warehouses.

Shipping is free on all orders over $120. Orders under $120 have a flat rate of $14.95 — no surprises at checkout.

Unfortunately not — our carriers require a full street address for delivery.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

Returns & Refunds

We offer 30-day returns on all products. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll organise everything — you don’t need to arrange anything yourself.

Items under $80 are refunded immediately — no return required, no questions. For items over $80, contact us and we’ll organise the return. We absorb the restocking fees, so you won’t be charged extra for a change of mind.

For orders over $300, someone from our team will call you first — often a simple adjustment fixes the issue without a return being necessary at all.

Send us one photo of the issue and we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund within 3 business days. You don’t need to return the item before we act.

No. We arrange everything — you don’t need to lift a box. Just let us know what’s happened and we’ll take care of it.

NDIS & Funding

Yes. Most of our walkers, rollators, shower chairs, toilet frames, and daily living aids are eligible under NDIS Consumables (Category 03). How it works depends on how your plan is managed — see the questions below.

At checkout, select “NDIS Plan Managed — Invoice” as your payment option and enter your plan manager’s email address in the order notes. We automatically generate a compliant NDIS invoice and send it directly to your plan manager. You don’t need to follow up or forward anything.

Order and pay as normal. A GST-compliant tax invoice is generated automatically with your order confirmation — submit it to NDIS yourself whenever suits you. No extra steps.

Yes. Your care coordinator can place an order on your behalf, or you can contact us to request a quote for your coordinator to approve. We’ll issue a formatted invoice with everything they need to process it through your package.

Not yet — we’re not currently set up to process agency-managed NDIS orders but we’re working toward it. Email us at hello@livesteadwell.com.au and we’ll let you know as soon as this changes.

No — NDIS orders are always charged at list price. Discounting NDIS invoices creates compliance issues with plan managers and the NDIS audit process, so we never do it.

Products & Warranty

All products ship from Australian warehouses. We only work with suppliers who stock and dispatch from Australian soil — nothing ships from overseas.

Yes. All products include a manufacturer warranty — most frames carry a 12-month warranty. If something goes wrong within the warranty period, contact us and we’ll handle it with the supplier on your behalf.

Class I devices — which covers most mobility aids — do not require TGA registration. For any powered devices in our range, we confirm TGA compliance with the supplier before listing.

Full dimensions are listed on every product page. For shower chairs and bath aids, we flag if you should measure your recess before ordering. A standard 900 mm × 900 mm Australian shower fits most of our chairs comfortably — if yours is older or smaller, take a quick measurement first.
