About this product
Best for people who can still get to the side of the bath but cannot lower themselves in, or push themselves back up once they are down. Common after a knee or hip replacement, and when arthritis has taken the strength out of getting up from low down.
You sit on the seat while it is level with the rim of the bath, swing your legs over, and press a button. The seat carries you down to the bottom and holds you there while you soak. Press again and it lifts you back up to rim height so you can slide off the side. The backrest reclines as you go down, so you can lie back rather than sit upright the whole time.
The hand control will not lower you into the bath unless it holds enough charge to lift you back out. That answers the one fear everybody has about sitting down in a powered seat.

Common questions
Will it fit my bath?
It sits inside the bath on a baseplate 31 cm wide and 61 cm long, so it fits most standard Australian baths. Measure the flat area at the bottom of yours. If it is narrower than 35 cm, or the base curves steeply, ask us before you order and we will work it out with you.
Will it slip, and does it feel steady?
Six suction cups grip the base of the bath. Press each one down firmly on a clean wet surface when you set it up. People do notice a slight sway on the way up and down, which is normal for this kind of scissor lift and settles as soon as you are sitting still.
How far down into the water does it go?
The seat stops about 8 cm above the bottom of the bath, so you sit in the water rather than lying fully submerged. If a deep soak lying flat is what you are after, that is the trade-off worth knowing before you buy.
What happens when the battery stops holding charge?
The battery lives in the hand control, and the hand control is replaceable on its own rather than the whole lift. Ask us and we will order one in for you.
What if it's not right for my situation?
Ask us before you order. The chat is open 24 hours and a real person will follow up personally. Getting the choice right the first time is what we're here for. There's a 30-day returns policy if you ever need it.
Can I use NDIS or Home Care funding?
Yes. This is NDIS-eligible under Consumables. If your plan is managed by a plan manager, we send them a compliant invoice directly. If you are on Support at Home, the AT-HM scheme covers this type of aid. Ask your care manager, or ask us. See how NDIS invoicing works
Every order here comes through me personally. If you're not sure this is the right one for your situation, ask before you order. I'd rather help you choose well than sell you the wrong thing.
