For Balance & Walking Support

If you have started reaching for the wall, the kitchen bench or someone's arm to feel steady, you are in the right place. These are the walking sticks, walking frames and rollators we sell, grouped from the lightest support to the most.

How to choose

A walking stick suits steadier days, when you want a little extra confidence on one side. A walking frame, which many people still call a Zimmer frame, gives you solid support on both sides as you move around the house. A rollator is a walking frame on wheels with hand brakes and, on most models, a seat, for walking further and resting whenever you need to.

The height matters more than the model. Stand straight with your arms loose: the handle should sit level with the crease of your wrist. Each product page lists the measurements you need, so you can check the fit before you order.

Still deciding between types? Our guide to the best walking frames for elderly Australians compares them side by side. Everything here is NDIS compatible, and if something is unused and in its original packaging you can return it within 30 days.

Help choosing

They need something solid to push against, short distances only

A standard walker is the right choice. No wheels means nothing rolls away. Best for moving between rooms or recovering from surgery.

They're still active but their confidence has dropped

A 4-wheel rollator gives them support without the effort of lifting a frame. Built-in seat for resting. Folds flat for the car. Suits indoor and outdoor use.

The home has narrow hallways or tight corners

A 3-wheel rollator navigates smaller spaces better than a standard 4-wheel model. Lighter and more compact.

They're over 100kg or need a wider, stronger frame

A heavy duty rollator is rated for higher weight capacity with a wider seat and reinforced frame.

They're mostly steady, just want a little extra confidence

A walking cane is the lightest option. Adjustable height, easy to carry, and discreet enough to take anywhere. Good for uneven ground and longer outings.
